Eric leads the Client Analytics department, which operates and continues to improve and expand Performance Trust’s financial decision-framing methodology for use by depository institutions; he also manages Enterprise Shape Management™ (ESM), Performance Trust’s Asset-Liability Management and Balance-Sheet Strategy service.
Eric joined Performance Trust in 1996, and has been a frequent speaker and writer on topics in fixed-income engineering and disciplined portfolio management. His appearances have included programs for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Bank Administration Institute, and the Cornell University Master’s Program in Financial Engineering.
Eric took a break from Performance Trust from 2005 to 2009, when he worked directly in Community Banking as CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, ALCO Chair, and Inside Director for a $2 billion institution. He returned with a greatly enhanced understanding of and appreciation for the lending, franchise, operational and regulatory concerns Community Bankers must daily manage. Today, he is a familiar voice on the Level Playing Field® webinar series, which is aimed at helping depository executives achieve great performance.
Prior to joining Performance Trust in 1996, Eric worked as a defense consultant, as well as a scientific and engineering software publisher. He also served as a naval officer and is a veteran of the Gulf War. Eric attended Cornell University, where he received Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science degrees in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering.
