Head of Marketing
A native of Bloomington, IL, Rissa joined Performance Trust in 2015 and serves as our marketing leader. Working closely with various leaders of the firm, she is responsible for marketing strategy, competitive brand positioning, team leadership, and go-to-market plans.
Rissa brings over 20 years of experience to the firm. Before joining Performance Trust, she served in a number of leadership roles at PwC with a focus on building winning teams. As U.S. Deals Marketing Leader, she repositioned the marketing function as a strategic partner to the $1B business. Her previous experience at PwC included Marketing & Sales Director for the Greater Chicago Market which generated $500M in annual revenue and Consultant with the Management Consulting Services group.
Prior to her years at PwC, Rissa owned and operated Welcker Consulting, a firm that specialized in marketing strategies for clients across a variety of industries, helping them create premium and differentiated brands. She also served as Director of Interactive Marketing for UNext, a privately held internet education company.
Rissa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and completed her MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
